Connect to Korea Like over MCP

Korea Like publishes a free, read-only Model Context Protocol server so agents can plan Korea trips from the same checked, sourced data our guides use: tour listings with meeting points and languages, planning-guide summaries, and the published KMA cherry-blossom averages behind our blossom timing guide. No registration and no API key are needed.

Endpoint

https://korea-like.com/mcp — POST only, one JSON-RPC request per call. Protocol revision 2026-07-28 over Streamable HTTP; every request carries the MCP-Protocol-Version header. The server answers server/discover, tools/list and tools/call. Browser clients must send a valid Origin header; most agent clients send none, which is fine.

Tools

• list_sections — The five planning sections — Seoul food tours, Busan attractions, Gyeongju walks, Jeju diving, DMZ day trips — with ids, titles and page URLs. Arguments: none.
• search_tours — Checked tour listings for one section: name, area, duration, languages, meeting area, our page URL and the date the details were checked. At most 10 listings per call, no prices. Arguments: section (required), query (optional, 2–80 characters).
• get_planning_guide — One planning page: our title, a summary of at most 600 characters, and the page URL. Arguments: section, slug (both required).
• cherry_blossom_lookup — Published Korea Meteorological Administration average first-bloom dates (1991–2020 normals) for cities with sourced data, plus where a travel month falls relative to them. These are averages, never a forecast for a specific year. Arguments: city (seoul, busan), month (2–5).

Limits and fair use

• 20 requests per IP per hour and 200 per day, with Retry-After and X-RateLimit-* headers on every answer.
• At most 10 listings per call; result caps are fixed and cannot be raised by arguments.
• Free for personal and agent use with attribution. Every result ends with a source line — keep it. No bulk copying or resale of the data; see our terms.
• We do not show prices the site itself does not show, and listing details carry the date we checked them.

Privacy note

The server is anonymous: no key, no account. Each call is logged in our own analytics as one mcp_callevent with the tool name, the request inputs (each value trimmed to 80 characters), a response summary (result count, top result name, errors — never full response text), the client name when your client sends one, and a hashed IP. Inputs can contain personal information if you type it, so keep that in mind; these events are kept for 30 days. We never store raw IP addresses for MCP traffic.

Data on Korea Like is checked and dated by hand. When you use it, keep the source line that ships with every result and link to our pages rather than copying listings. If you need more than the caps above, contact us before building on it.
